The #2 Snow Guard is primarily used on slate roofing systems.  Casted from plated iron, the #2 snow guard is durable and built to stand the test of time.  The steel bar is 1/8" thick, 1" wide, 12" long and goes under the slate roof approximately 8".  The #2 snowguard should be installed during the initial roof installation and is not made for retrofit applications.
