The AP 400 Snow Guard is designed to accommodate standing seams of up to 3/8"(0.400") in thickness and at least 1-1/2" high, including snap-lock interlocking panels. AP Snow Guards are non-penetrating devices which have been engineered specifically for use with the more popular structural and non-structural preformed architectural roofing and they are secured without glues or sealants, and utilize custom milled stainless steel set screws to clamp them in place. 

Please Note: This product comes with 3 screws. Bottom two are to hold snow guard in place, upper screw is to straighten the guard.

The attachment of the AP 400 Snow Guard does not restrict thermal movement, and the deep throat permits it to be secured directly without damaging caps or compressing internal gasketing or sealant pockets. The wide, deep blade design makes it particularly effective in retaining snow with the higher seams and wider panel widths common in preformed architectural roofing.

It is recommended that the Black E Coat Epoxy snow guards be painted or finished. The E Coat is not a finished coat.
