The Threaded Rod is used with some of our free hanging half round gutter hangers when there is no fascia board to mount the gutter. The rods get bent to the pitch of the roof. One end gets mounted to the roof deck and the threaded end goes into the hole in the center of the gutter hanger (sold separately). There are two nuts that come with the rod and one gets installed below the hanger and the other gets installed above the hanger. The nuts can be loosened or tightened to allow the gutter to be raised or lowered for the proper pitch. The threaded rods work well in conjunction with our Reverse Bead Husky Hanger, Reverse Bead Hidden Hanger, and our Double Bead Bar Hanger.
